Below a text which dates from the year 1455 taken from the 'registers of feoffs and rents’ of the castle ‘Nijenrode’ at Breukelen, Holland, which contains a reference to a 'Dorlant'. Truely a brainteaser! Try and see if you can manage to make a transcription (so a reproduction in modern characters) of this document. Although it is in Dutch you should be able to recognize individual letters. If you succeed, let us know and you'll get an honorable mention on this site.
