About 30 years ago, out of personal interest, research was carefully started after the families ‘Dorland’ and ‘Van Dorland’, which only around 1994 started to take serious form. It soon became clear that thorough family tree-research often turns out to be ‘jungle-research’. However, there now is a book containing the genealogical records concerning the ‘Van Dorland’ family. This site is an addition to that. Records and information which are not included in the book (or website for that matter), can be supplied by yourself, as with changes, pictures, additions etc.
